Common Questions
Do I have to complete my profile?
You can skip it initially, but Asaph works better with a complete profile. You'll get prompted to finish it later.
Can I change my information later?
Yes. All profile fields can be edited anytime in settings.
What if my denomination isn't listed?
Select "Other" and consider adding a note in your church name field if needed.
Can I have multiple roles?
Choose your primary role. You can list multiple skills to show everything you do.
Is my information shared outside my team?
No. Your profile is only visible to people in your Asaph account or team members you invite.
What if I don't know my church's denomination?
Select "Non-denominational" or ask your pastor. Church information is managed by admins in the Church profile section. This isn't a critical field—it can be updated later.
Why does Asaph ask for gender?
Gender helps analyze feedback to identify optimal song keys. After you gather feedback on set lists, Asaph can show which keys work best for men versus women in your congregation.
Why does Asaph ask for birth year?
Birth year helps map feedback to age demographics. After each service, you'll see which songs resonate with different generations—so you can choose songs that connect across all ages in your congregation.
