Types of Notifications

  • Push notifications (mobile app)

  • Message notifications

  • Feedback notifications

  • Video training notifications

Push Notifications (Mobile App)

Enabling Mobile Alerts

Turn on push notifications in the Asaph app settings or your device's notification settings. You'll get instant alerts on your phone or tablet.

Managing Mobile Notifications

Control push notifications separately from email notifications. You might want immediate mobile alerts but daily email digests.

Sound and Vibration

Configure sound and vibration settings through your device's system settings for the Asaph app.

Message Notifications

When You Receive Messages

Get notified when someone sends you a message or replies to a conversation. Choose immediate alerts to respond quickly, or use daily digests to batch your messages.

Group Message Notifications

Control notifications for group conversations separately. You can mute busy group chats while still getting alerts for one-on-one messages.

Feedback Notifications

Feedback Reminders

Get notified when it's time to submit feedback after a service. Weekly reminders help you stay consistent with providing input.

Video Training Notifications

New Comment Alerts

Receive notifications when a team member comments on any training video chat.

When to Turn These Off

If you prefer to browse comments on your own schedule, turn these notifications off. You can always check the training library manually.

Muting Specific Notification Types

Turning Off What You Don't Need

Turn off notifications for features you don't use regularly. You can always check these sections manually when convenient.

Temporary Muting

Some notifications support temporary muting—like pausing feedback reminders when you're on vacation. Look for "snooze" or "mute" options.

Managing Notification Overload

Start With Fewer Notifications

Begin with minimal notifications enabled. Add more as you discover what you actually need.

Review and Adjust

If you feel overwhelmed by notifications, review your settings and turn off less critical alerts.

Common Questions

Will I miss important updates if I turn off notifications?

You can always check Asaph manually for updates. Notifications are for convenience, not necessity.

How do I stop all notifications?

Turn off all notification types in your settings. You'll still be able to use Asaph—you just won't get alerts.

Can I change notification settings from the mobile app?

Yes. Access notification settings from the app's settings menu, or use your device's system settings.

What if I'm not receiving notifications?

Check that notifications are enabled both in Asaph settings and in your device settings.
